Sustainable Hydrogen Production Process

The OkraH2-process

The process is setting new standards for energy generation through an innovative technology to facilitate the “hydrogen economy”. The key technological feature of the process is the pre-defined water-oxygen ratios (WOR) identified to promote flexible hydrogen production independent of the feedstock. The combined oxidizing agents eliminate the amount of energy required to completely oxidize a hydrogen containing compound completely in favour of hydrogen gas production. The ratios are chosen to ensure the overall reactions are exothermic.

The process is a low temperature (T < 100°C) and low pressure (p < 4 bar) hydrogen production process without external energy input. The hydrogen gas harvested from the system can be purified and used as fuel for conventional fuel-cells, burners and combustion engines. Our business is to produce hydrogen producing enzymes, hydrogen gas and electric power to support the 'hydrogen economy' in a sustainable way. We are motivated and inspired by nature to better serve our customers with clean energy.
